Web Quote Builder

The quote builder used on this website does not obligate you in any way to purchase the products. This service allows us to price out all your pieces and look at additional requests such as assembly to provide an accurate quote for your potential order.

The information that you provide to Inside Out Direct will not be shared, traded or sold to any other parties for promotional purposes.

Terms Of Quote

Your quote is valid until the manufacturer changes their pricing or there is a large fluctuation in currency value. Due to changes in raw materials, production or freight, manufacturers usually adjust their price lists at least once a year. If your order has already been placed, your prices will not change if the manufacturer changes their pricing or if currency or shipping rates change.

Payment Process

All of our orders require a 30% deposit. A further 20% will be invoiced when the order is ready to be dispatched and the remaining 50% of the order will be due on delivery (including all add-on services such as assembly). If the balance due on your account cannot be paid prior to, or upon delivery, your order will be placed on hold until the payment is received.

Please be aware that most manufacturers will not allow a special order to be cancelled after it has been placed into production. Therefore, our flexibility to allow a change on your order will be determined by our ability to change the order with the manufacturer.

A 10% cancellation fee will be charged if your furniture has not left the manufacturer, provided the manufacturer will allow us to cancel this order. Orders that have already been shipped can be cancelled at Inside Out Direct’s discretion. A 40% restocking fee plus all shipping costs will be charged to the customer if the furniture has left the manufacturer.

Products, Availablity & Assembly

While it is our objective to hold all advertised items in stock, we are under no obligation to do so.  Due to popularity or interruption of supply, some items may be unavailable or out of stock. We will inform you if we foresee a problem with your order.
Some items may require assembly. It may be necessary to make changes to product specifications. We reserve the right to make these changes at any time and without notice.

At Inside Out we use quality materials, kiln dried timber, plantation timbers and natural earth friendly recycled timbers, such as teak and pine.  Our furniture pieces are designed and constructed to be sympathetic to the timber’s need for movement. This design process enables us to offer a durable high quality article at an affordable price.

To have individuality and enduring qualities of solid timber furniture, some allowances have to be made for its natural tendency to expand and contract; depending on its surroundings even old and recycled timbers continue to move, warp and crack.

However should you encounter significant problems with timber movement, we offer a 12-month structural warranty. This is compliant upon the provision of original proof of purchase, and that the goods have been used for the purpose of its design.

Inside Out Direct will repair or replace item/s that present with a manufacturing defect.
We undertake to replace any goods defective in workmanship or materials if returned within 14 days, but will not accept any other responsibility.
The warranty does not cover items used for commercial purposes or expected wear and tear.

Exchanges and refunds can be given where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don’t do what they are supposed to do.

We offer a back-to-store warranty. Pick up and delivery is not covered by this warranty.
Please note that images are for illustrated purposes only, some variations may apply.

Important: Please retain your invoice for proof of purchase and purchase date.

While at Inside Out Direct we endeavour to take great care with our prices and descriptions, we reserve the right to correct errors or misprints and adjust prices where necessary.

Alfresco is generally considered an outdoor area undercover. The level of cover and protection will dictate the design of table - partial cover where at times the top is exposed to heat or moisture - a slatted top is strongly recommended as it allows the timber to move. Can you place a solid top timber table in an alfresco area? Yes, but your expectations should be that the top may fade, move or crack.

Indoor Furniture

  • Most timber indoor furniture that is not in direct sun light or subjected to heat will simply require to be dusted from time to time with a dry soft cloth or duster.
  • For more stubborn cleaning use a damp cloth (water)
  • Never use solvents or bleach.
Items that are subjected to sunlight, heat or air-conditioning may be prone to dry out and fade. Depending on the item, oil and wax treatments will be required to be applied on a regular basis.
  • Many of our recycled items and rustic designs can benefit from oil treatments or waxing.
The range of different timbers and finishes offered at Inside Out is huge so please contact us for any information you may require:

A soft brush and/or a vacuum will clean up most things from weave furniture.
For more suborn marks try a nail brush and warm water.

Outdoor Furniture

Timber care

It's only natural that any timber left to the harsh elements will dry and begin to weather.
To reduce this from happening here are two basic means of protection.

  1. Replace the oil that is naturally drawn out
As timber dries out, it lightens and becomes dull, a sure sign that it's time to apply an oil treatment.
There are many oil treatments available, one of the most popular and inexpensive is Linseed oil.
A simple means of protection, regular applications are essential.
  2. Sealing with an exterior lacquer or paint
From natural matt clear coatings to full gloss paints, you're able to match any decor requirement.
These applications offer great exterior protection and can last for years.
Be sure to read and follow instructions of whatever product you decide to use.

The Redwood furniture range has a thin coat of lacquer for presentation and provides no protection for outdoor use. Please ensure that this presentation coat is removed before applying an exterior lacquer or paint

Fittings & Fasteners

From time to time the bolts and fittings may loosen from use, in which case you should tighten them.
